Not allowed
- Anything illegal where you are, where we are, or where the servers are.
- Phishing, malware, botnet control, credential harvesting.
- Spam, or hosting the landing pages for spam sent elsewhere.
- Impersonating a real person, business, bank or government service.
- Attacking others — port scanning, brute forcing, denial of service.
- Cryptocurrency mining, or using a hosting plan primarily as bulk file storage.
- Deliberately evading plan limits by spreading one site across many accounts.
Fair use, stated honestly
Plan limits — sites, storage, bandwidth — are published and enforced with hard caps and an upgrade prompt. We would rather pause a site and tell you than send a surprise bill. If you outgrow a plan, we will say so before anything breaks.
Free tier
The free tier is for real sites, including small ones. It is not a CDN for hotlinked media, a redirect farm, or a place to park thousands of throwaway subdomains. Abuse of the free tier is the fastest way for us to have to make it worse for everyone.
Backups are shared responsibility
We keep deploy history so you can roll back, and we back up the platform. That is not the same as backing up your work. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot recreate.
If you break this policy
Usually we email you and ask you to fix it. Serious cases — anything harming third parties — are suspended first and discussed after. You will always be told what happened and how to appeal. See the abuse policy.
