DomainChapter is a reseller of domain registration services. We are not an ICANN-accredited registrar and we never claim to be. Every domain you register through us is sponsored by an ICANN-accredited registrar partner, who appears as the sponsoring registrar in the public WHOIS/RDAP record for your domain.
Before launch: name the sponsoring registrar exactly as it appears in WHOIS, with its IANA ID and a link to its own registrar agreement.
Your rights as a registrant
ICANN publishes a Registrant Rights & Responsibilities document and a Registrant Benefits & Responsibilities Specification. Both apply to your registration and both are worth reading once:
Verifying your contact details (RAA)
ICANN's Registrar Accreditation Agreement requires your registrant email address to be verified. When a verification email arrives, click the link. If it stays unverified for 15 days, the registry suspends the domain — your website and email stop working until it is confirmed. We surface unverified domains in your dashboard and email you before that deadline, because this is the single most common way people lose access to a working domain without understanding why.
Transfers
ICANN blocks transfers for 60 days after a registration or a change of registrant. Aside from that policy lock, we will never obstruct a transfer out: unlock the domain in your dashboard, request the EPP/authorization code (we email it to your account address), and hand it to your new registrar. Transfers in usually add a year to your expiry.

Complaints and escalation
Start with us — email support and we will answer. If a registrar-level issue is not resolved, you can escalate to the sponsoring registrar directly, and to ICANN via their complaint form.
